This is a photograph of modern London using expired 35mm Russian film from the 1990s. The fun of expired film is that it is always a surprise, but I didn’t expect the level of noise that appeared when it was developed. To pull out what detail still remained, I created a two layer stencil and screen printed this design onto the photograph.
