Umit Ceramics creates pieces that are part of your daily rituals, focusing on wheel-thrown tableware and homeware in stoneware clay. All pieces are handmade in small batches by Umit Launn, an independent ceramicist who works from a studio in Enfield, North London. Umit is inspired by geometry, architecture and the clean lines of Modernist design, and uses layered glazes, marbled clays and surface decoration to blend functionality with decoration.
