Minimalist, statement earrings in matt textured Chartreuse inspired by hoops of willow, handmade using polymer clay and sterling silver ear studs and posts. Lightweight and easy to wear all day.Qlemontines are designed and made in my home studio by the Grand Union Canal in Brentford, London. They draw from shapes and colours that have inspired me – everything from Moroccan architecture to the tropical waters of Malaysia.
Each Qlemontine starts as a mix of clay colours to develop the right hues. Next I roll, hand-cut, sand, buff and assemble finished pieces using goldplated, stainless steel or brass jump rings and earring posts.
